It's Bollywood's biggest casting coup of the year!

Versatile actor Aamir Khan has been paired with the enigmatic Kajol for Yash Raj production's Fanaa.

The two were last seen together in Indra Kumar's Ishq in 1998, but this is the first time they have been cast as the leading pair.

Though he only makes one film a year, Fanaa will be Aamir's second release in 2006 after the super duper hit Rang De Basanti.

Fanaa also marks Kajol's comeback to Bollywood. She returns after a long break post marriage and motherhood.

Directed by Kunal Kohli, the film also stars Tabu and Rishi Kapur. After a schedule in Delhi the unit travelled to Poland, but the cast and crew remain tight-lipped about the film.
